At the heart of the community is the Oak Bridge Club at Sawgrass golf course, which was recently redesigned by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. The layout features beautiful tree-lined fairways and mildly undulating greens, which demand proper shot placement and a deft touch with the short game. The shotmaker's course is a par-70, measuring only 6,389 yards from the back tees and an enjoyable 4,839 yards from the forward tees. Yet golf is only part of the story in this elegant Florida community. The Oak Bridge Club at Sawgrass pairs great golf and tennis with wonderful recreational facilities. The stylish clubhouse features dining, men's and women's locker rooms and fully stocked golf and tennis shops. Among the other club amenities are 10 Har-Tru tennis courts, including eight that are lighted, and a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool. The Oak Bridge Club at Sawgrass offers a wide variety of memberships for family, singles and corporations. Oak Bridge is now under new managment with local owners.
