Recent Renovations Ensure Future of This Popular Course

Jacksonville Beach Golf Club, Jacksonville, FL Amainstay of the Jacksonville golf scene for well over four decades, the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club has undergone a facelift of sorts the past
couple of years that has revitalized The popular North Florida course.

Spurred by an aggressive renovation campaign, Jacksonville Beach Golf Club has made significant improvements to its greens, conditioning and facilities that will ensure its future as one of the top public courses on Florida’s First Coast.During the past few years, the course has completed renovations on 10 of its 18 greens. In early 2004, Jacksonville Beach Golf Club welcomed a new clubhouse, parking lot and golf cart facility.

Our main focus is on being progressive and improving the overall golf course for the enjoyment of all golfers, both beginner and professional.

Jacksonville Beach Golf Club, Jacksonville, FL In August 2003, the course debuted new greens on holes one, two, four, six and 10. In 2002, the work focused on rebuilding holes five, nine, 12, 14 and 17. All together, more than half of Jacksonville Beach Golf Club’s greens have been resurfaced, enlarged and fortified for the future.

In addition to the greens, a new lake has been added for water retention on the first hole, which can come into play off the tee on the left side.

Overall, our goal is to ensure the playbility, conditioning and challenge of Jacksonville Bech Golf Club is what these changes have been all about.
