Tom Burnett Golf Academy

The Tom Burnett Golf Academy was established with a mission to grow the game of golf through a three-dimensional approach to teaching, while working to be recognized as the number one provider of quality golf instruction in the country for all level of players.

Tom Burnett, director of instruction, has been a member of the PGA since 1996. He is the developer and author of, “The ABCs of Golf,” a former Ledbetter instructor, the former Director of Instruction at the Ponte Vedra Golf Academy and the 2003 North Florida PGA Section Teacher of the Year.

The academy is located at the OakBridge Country Club at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach. Our practice range can accommodate up to 20 students, with access to a larger range for corporate groups or large scale clinics. The short game area and putting green are situated just across from our teaching room and provide excellent areas for players to sharpen the scoring element of their game.

These outstanding practice facilities are complemented by an Arnold Palmer-designed 18-hole championship course, a perfect venue for players to test their skills.

Students of the Tom Burnett Golf Academy know their instructors are experts in teaching the golf swing and preparing them for the course.

Coaches use the best teaching aids and the most sophisticated and trusted technology. The Tom Burnett Golf Academy employs the Accusport Vector launch monitor in teaching and in analyzing student’s equipment, this ensures the students golf clubs fit their swing.

The use of state-of-the-art video and computer analysis by our instructors provides our students with real-time swing analysis and can be used right on the tee box! In addition to these high tech features, we are also a Titleist fitting center, providing players with the latest in club technology and innovation.
