Amelia River Golf Club Amelia Island

Amelia River Golf Club, formerly Royal Amelia, is renowned as one of the best-conditioned courses in the area with incredibly smooth TifEagle greens and wide Scottish Links-style fairways. This par-72 track, which plays to a yardage of 6,843 from the back tees, is maintained in pristine shape with well manicured rolling fairways, smooth bunkers and greens. “Amelia River is unique by most resort standards. Any golfer who can appreciate a park-like setting with wildlife, water and 18 challenging holes will love Amelia River Golf Club,” says designer Tom Jackson.

Every hole at Amelia River offers a challenge. The par-3 17th and its peninsular green is the signature hole. With five different tee boxes on each hole, seven different pin positions on its over-sized greens and water in play on 12 holes, Amelia River offers championship golf that head golf pro Barry Richardson describes as “a marvelous challenge for all skill levels”.

With the addition of a beautiful, New England-style shingled clubhouse, Amelia River now offers locker rooms, pro shop and a restaurant with “golfer-friendly” food.
