Newly equipped with Paspalum greens to create a consistent state of year-round playability, Cimarrone Golf Club is entering a new era. The veteran course located just ten minutes north of the World Golf Village off I-95 has never looked better, but David Postlethwait’s terrific shotmaker’s layout is still tough. Cimarrone is a solid measuring stick of your game; play well and you’ll be rewarded, but play poorly and you’ll be penalized.

Five sets of tees between 4,700 and 6,900 yards set the stage for an intriguing journey through an atypical Florida experience, complete with rolling fairways and plenty of undulation and mounding. Golf Digest gave Cimarrone a 4-star rating on its “Places to Play” list and the course is consistently recognized by locals and tourists as one of the top layouts in Jacksonville.
